Training Ride (South Bay) Mid-Peninsula Introductory Series #7 (37 mi) Peers Park, Palo Alto
Meet Time: 8:30 AM Ride-Out Time: 9:15 AM Miles: 37 Category: Category 1 - Slow pace
(8-10 mph) Terrain: 2 - rolling hills Rain Policy: Heavy Rain Cancels Description:
Ride 7 has
us trading mileage for hills. While this ride is not much longer than
last week, there is one good climb, and one good decline to get us working on
our hill skills.
We'll head up to Canada
Road via Woodside, then go further up to Sawyer Camp Trail. We won't get
on the trail, we'll head down Crystal Springs, then up and over
Polhemus/Ralston, (the hill - up and down). Then we'll make our way along
Alameda back to Palo Alto, which is a nice cool down.
Heavy rain cancels, if
it's lightly raining, we'll modify the route.
Ride any pace you like,
no one gets left behind on this well-supported ride!
