The beneficiaries supported by AIDS/LifeCycle are:
As one of the largest HIV/AIDS service organizations in the world, the L.A. Gay & Lesbian Center has been developing widely-acclaimed programs to prevent new HIV infections since the earliest days of the epidemic and provides free, rapid HIV tests to nearly 1,000 people each month.
For the many people with HIV/AIDS unable to afford medical care, the Center’s Jeffrey Goodman Clinic offers free, expert healthcare, medicine and counseling, as well as access to its clinical trials of promising new treatments.
Nationally, the Center is a leader and forceful advocate for sound policy regarding the rights and well-being of people living with HIV.
The San Francisco AIDS Foundation provides leadership to prevent new HIV infections and promote health among those living with HIV. Linking community experience with science, the AIDS Foundation develops ground-breaking prevention programs and bold policy initiatives to advance health outcomes to create sustainable progress against HIV.
The Foundation advocates that all people living with HIV, not just those with means, have access to promising treatment and excellent health care.
Established in 1982 in the epicenter of the epidemic, the San Francisco AIDS Foundation refuses to accept that HIV transmission is inevitable.
