I'm Riding Because I Can, and Others Can't
This year will be my 7th time participating in the AIDS/LifeCycle! It's an event that has completely changed how I think about myself, and my community. After COVID shut the world down my community, like so many others, is trying to rebuild. During COVID, the LA LGBT Center stepped up to not only continue their fight against HIV/AIDS, but also help fight against, and protect against COVID. They did all this while losing funding, and donations alike, so now is the time to help the Center rebound.
I have a goal of raising $20,000 in the fight against HIV/AIDS and support of the underserved LGBT Community.
I am riding to help those who cannot help themselves. If my riding a bike 545 miles can help feed, clothe, sooth a person living with HIV/AIDS, it's the least I can do...
If your company has a matching donation program, please specify "Los Angeles Gay and Lesbian Center" as the recipient and if there is a section for notes please put "ALC2022, Rider 1195 - John Zuiker" in there.
I thank you in advance for helping to support me in this amazing journey. Knowing that my friends and family are backing me will make the ride mean THAT much more.
