I am riding my bicycle 545 miles.. again!
When I signed up to do this ride the first time it was going to be a one time adventure and physical challenge. When the realization of what I was a part of and the good we were doing, I decided to ride again. It all went sideways in 2020 and 2021 but it is on for2022.
I will need a lot of help from a lot of people. I need encouragement. I need people to do training rides with me. I need people to ignore me when I complain about being sore. I need people to believe in me and and in what I am doing. Lastly, I am asking for your financial support.
So next June 5-11 over 3,000 cyclists, roadies will be participating in AIDS/LifeCycle, a 545-mile bike ride from San Francisco to Los Angeles to raise funds for the life-saving services, supported research and world wide education offered by San Francisco AIDS Foundation and the Los Angeles LGBT Center. Again I’ll be one of them riding all day and sleeping in a tent at night.
The services provided as a result of this event mean the world to those who receive them, and your support means the world to me.
