To Ride 1.2 million miles and raise crucial funds.
TogetheRide is a community-wide cycling challenge that is bringing people together, even when we’re physically apart. Thousands of people are banding together to join TogetheRide and take on the audacious goal of logging a cumulative 1.2 million miles by June 30, 2021. Along the journey, we are raising critical funds to support the work of the Los Angeles LGBT Center and San Francisco AIDS Foundation and create awareness about the ongoing HIV/AIDS epidemic.
Why 1.2 Million miles?
To honor the 1.2 million people in the US living with HIV. Together we are ensuring that all people have access to testing, care, and prevention services.
And so I am asking for your help once again, I have committed to raising at least $10,000. Help me support the San Francisco AIDS Foundation by giving what you can. We'll keep riding (virtually or otherwise) until AIDS and HIV are a thing of the past.
"To ride a bicycle properly is very much like a love affair; chiefly it is a matter of faith. Believe you can do it and the thing is done; doubt, and for the life of you, you cannot."
