In 2001 I got on my bike with roughly 3,000 other cyclists and participated in my first California AIDS Ride.
That year, there were 1,084 new HIV diagnosis in San Francisco.
Since that time, the rate of new infections has continued to drop with only 197 new diagnosis in 2018.
Not one person, nor one organization, can take all the credit. We're in this together, but there's no denying that your donations and my continued riding has had an impact on what we can do together to end this pandemic.
