Thank you for joining me in this cause!
From May 31 - June 6, 2020, over 3,000 participants would have volunteered in AIDS/LifeCycle, a 545-mile bike ride from San Francisco to Los Angeles. The collective community of AIDS Lifecycle is endearingly referred to as the Love Bubble.
This year I signed up to participate as a virtual cyclist. I had started out the year on the usual training schedule, but in March the world came to a halt. As we all know, this most recent pandemic changed the course of our future in a way the world has not seen in modern history. The impact caused many events as we knew them to be cancelled or altered, this ride included.
The funds raised during the AIDS LifeCycle event are still needed. The beneficiaries of this charity event are the Los Angeles LGBT Center and San Francisco AIDS Foundation. These community centers provide many services to people seeking help in learning about, preventing, treating and dealing with all aspects of living with HIV.
AIDS Lifecycle has been an ongoing event now for over 25 years and it helps to fund these entities in order that they may continue their work in the community. The endeavor of raising funds requires the support of many people who care and are committed to creating a world where HIV and AIDS are a thing of the past. I am one of those people and that is why I am asking for your support by becoming a donor to my participation this year.
Press the DONATE NOW button and follow the steps to make a contribution today. It is that easy! Thank you for any consideration.
