With Covid finally getting somewhat under control, it‘s time to get back in the saddle and start getting ready for this year’s AIDS/LifeCycle journey!
This will be my 15th time riding 545 miles down the California coast from San Francisco to Los Angeles to support the life-saving services offered by San Francisco AIDS Foundation and the Los Angeles LGBT Center.
I started doing this ride back in 1996 when I was only 24 years old and this May, I‘m hitting the BIG 50. I thought that this would be a great way to celebrate my birthday and support the community. While there have been tremendous advances in the fight against HIV/AIDS over the years, we still aren‘t done with the fight to end HIV/AIDS.
The services provided as a result of my fundraising efforts include counseling, HIV/STD screenings, linking youth experiencing homelessness and people living with HIV to housing, and so much more. By supporting this cause, you take a stand against stigma, helping to create a world where health justice is a reality for everyone.
Over the years, I‘ve been able to raise over $175,000 for the cause and I‘m hoping with your support that one day I‘ll reach the $200,000 mark. Will you support me by making a donation today and help me celebrate my BIG 50 by helping others!
