"In a gentle way, you can shake the world." Ghandi
In a world of unstability, chaos and change, one thing is certain: no one is promised tomorrow. I never knew what it felt like to save a life until I participated in this life-changing ride. In all actuality, I never knew how precious, vulnerable, courageous and fragile LIFE was until I participated in my first AIDS Lifecycle Ride in 2013. As a result, I now carry a much different view of the world I currently live in, choosing to help others so that one day this deadly disease will no longer exist. I have hope that this dream will one day be my new reality. And I am asking for your support on this 545 mile journey once again.
2019 marks my fourth journey riding along California's beautiful scenic coast with more than 2500+ of my closest and newest friends. Some are cyclists, roadies, safety moto, operational, SAG, medical staff and many more volunteers who make this ride possible. However from June 2nd to June 8, 2019, they are my ohana and together, WE raise monies to end the war on AIDS.
So here I am, Participant #1755, a fourth year veteran and now team captain with TEAM FUNKY MONKEY. With over 70+ registered cyclists, you won't miss us on the road, monkeying around.
Many thanks for your generosity and all of your support in advance! I am eternally and deeply grateful for YOU!!!
