I'm Wrenching to End AIDS
From May 31- June 6, 2020, I'm volunteering as a bike mechanic for AIDS/LifeCycle. It's a 7-day, 545-mile bike ride from San Francisco to Los Angeles to make a world of difference in the lives of people living with HIV and AIDS.
in 1996, my buddy and cycling Ironman Mike Gordon put together a team of friends to ride what was then the California AIDS ride. It was very grass roots back then, a lot of people borrowed bikes from their neighbors.
A lot has changed since then. Intead of doctors telling HIV positive people to get their affairs in order, new drug therapies are allowing for relatively normal lives for those affected.
This will be my 20th year supporting this ride and my first year that I have formally fund raised.
Help me support AIDS/LifeCycle by giving what you can. We'll keep riding until AIDS and HIV are a thing of the past.
