So I'm turning 50 in February and for some reason decided to challenge myself physically with this bike ride (despite having broken my clavicle in a bike accident a couple of years ago). Maybe I'm crazy for attempting this ride, maybe I'm having a mid-life crisis, or maybe I'll be able to do my part to raise funds to help with HIV research and support for years to come.
Fom May 31st to June 6th, over 3,000 Cyclists, Roadies and Virtual Cyclists will be participating in AIDS/LifeCycle, a 545-mile bike ride from San Francisco to Los Angeles to raise funds for the life-saving services offered by San Francisco AIDS Foundation and the Los Angeles LGBT Center. And yes, this year, I’ll be one of them!
The services provided as a result of this event mean the world to those who receive them, and your support means the world to me.
We’re working together to make HIV/AIDS a thing of the past. I hope that you will support me by making a donation today!
And if your employer matches, please direct the match to me (rider #3062). Thanks!!
