In both 1996 and 2018, I participated in AIDS/Lifecycle, the annual 545-mile fundraising event (from San Francisco to Los Angeles) that serves as the primary source of funding for the life-saving services offered by the San Francisco AIDS Foundation and the Los Angeles LGBT Center.
I feel very fortunate to be able to do the ride again and to give back to this amazing community of open hearted, caring individuals who believe in a cause, and make it all happen through their actions and dedication. So, this year, 2 weeks after my 61st birthday, I'll do it again. With my husband Craig by my side, as a roadie ... he'll be inspiring and motivating each of us as we ride along.
We do this because we're motivated to make a difference in the fight to end HIV/AIDS once and for all, and because we have the means and determination to do it.
Your support, no matter how large or small, will make a difference. I hope you can come along and participate in this wonderful event by making a donation ...
