Please help serve people in need: those at risk of HIV infection, those with substance abuse problems, those who need support navigating social service offerings.
San Francisco AIDS Foundation has multiple programs that serve target communities. They also advocate for better health care policies and programs at the national and state levels. The SFAF often leads the way with programs that respect people and people's various needs. Examples: HIV prevention via a syringe access program; getting people started on PrEP, Pre Exposure Prophylaxis (uses medicine that prevents HIV infection!); weekend seminars for newly infected people; outreach to African Americans, Latinos, and trans people.
In 2019, we ("my" donors) broke the $100,000 mark--over $112,000 raised with your generosity.
"The San Francisco AIDS Foundation mission is to end the transmission of HIV in San Francisco and improve access to care through education, advocacy, and direct services in communities most vulnerable to the disease. We are proud to offer all of our programs at no cost to our clients through the generous support of our many community partners and individual donors."
Please join me in helping those whose lives are difficult, minimizing new infections, and building communities.
Here's the deal:
I bike all year. I train and support other bikers who fundraise.

I appreciate your support of San Francisco AIDS Foundation and its clients, and your support of my fundraising.
