After taking a 6 year hiatus, I’m back!
This will be my 3rd AIDS/LifeCycle!! I am super excited to get back in the saddle, get back into shape and start adding some serious mileage to my beloved Bianchi! Come to think of it, I think the last time I rode my bike was during 2014’s ALC! Yikes!!!
This time around is special for many reasons, the first being that I will have the love and support of my amazing wife during this journey, and (knock on wood) my wife will hopefully be pregnant by May 31st, 2020 (fingers crossed!) This will also be my first time doing the ride on a team, and I am honored to be a part of the Marin Marauders team! I will also be turning 45 years old in 2020, so evil twins, you better watch out for this old queen! And last but certainly not least, I will have started my transition!!
From May 31st to June 6th 2020, over 3,000 Cyclists, Roadies and Virtual Cyclists will be participating in AIDS/LifeCycle, a 545-mile bike ride from San Francisco to Los Angeles to raise funds for the life-saving services offered by San Francisco AIDS Foundation and the Los Angeles LGBT Center. This year, I’ll be one of them!
The services provided as a result of this event mean the world to those who receive them, and your support means the world to me.
We’re working together to make HIV/AIDS a thing of the past. Will you support me by making a donation today?
With much ALC love,
