From June 3rd thru June 9th 2018, I'm bicycling in AIDS/LifeCycle. It's a 7-day, 545-mile bike ride from San Francisco to Los Angeles and it makes a world of difference in the lives of people living with HIV and AIDS.
This is my seventh year doing this fantastic fundraising event and I have to say it has really changed my life.
I started doing this ride as a challenge to myself. I wanted to become a better cyclist but what really happened is I became involved in a great community doing phenomenal work to end AIDS. Each successive year I find that I am more amazed than the year before at how this ride and the work that is done by the organizations that the ride benefits is saving lives and changing lives.
Since I am an 'out of state' rider, I like to see ways that this benefits other locations as well. Follow this link to see some of the ways it helps outside of California. http://www.aidslifecycle.org/beneficiaries/national-and-global-efforts.html
I'm riding to end AIDS.
Will you PLEASE help me support AIDS/LifeCycle by giving whatever you can! I'll keep riding until AIDS and HIV are a thing of the past.
