What originally began as a personal physical challenge for me has now grown into something far greater. I've become a weekend cyclist, made new friends, and most importantly in my journey, I realize just how many people depend upon the services of the SF AIDS Foundation and LA Gay & Lesbian Center, not just for their health, but for their very existence.
This June 2020, I'm bicycling in AIDS/LifeCycle for the 6th time. It's a 7-day, 545-mile bike ride from San Francisco to Los Angeles to make a world of difference in the lives of people living with HIV and AIDS.
ALC is truly an inspiring and life-changing event. Everywhere we rode across the state people came out to cheer us on and thank the riders for making a difference in lives of those who have been touched by HIV/AIDS. Onlookers carried signs of well wishes along with remembrances of friends and family members tragically lost to the disease.
It seems like such a small thing but your contribution when grouped with those of others makes a tremendous difference in the lives of so many. Your gift assists with health care needs, education, research and outreach to communities at the greatest risk of new HIV infection.
Please help me support AIDS/LifeCycle by giving what you can. We'll keep riding until AIDS and HIV are a thing of the past. Thanks for your support, encouragement, and best wishes!
