Thank you for joining me in this cause!
I do the aids lifecycle for many reasons... 1. It does not discriminate, it doesn't matter if your rich, poor, gay, straight, black, white, green or purple. It affects everyone! 2. My friends that are positive. 3. The main reason was when I was 12 years old my friend Anique died of aids at the age of 10 years old. I remember how it was for her back then.... No one would play with her ( or at least the parents wouldn't let their kids play with her). I remember watching a movie with her an her getting cold, I put my arm around her and snuggled next to her. She started crying because ever since she discovered she had aids no one would touch her. Till this day it feels as though it was just yesterday... So I ride because I care, I ride because I want to help, I ride because I want to find a cure... So no one ever has to feel like Anique did!
June 3rd - June 9th, over 3,000 Cyclists, Roadies and Virtual Cyclists will be participating in AIDS/LifeCycle, a 545-mile bike ride from San Francisco to Los Angeles to raise funds for the life-saving services offered by San Francisco AIDS Foundation and the Los Angeles LGBT Center. This year, I’ll be one of them!
The services provided as a result of this event mean the world to those who receive them, and your support means the world to me.
We’re working together to make HIV/AIDS a thing of the past. Will you support me by making a donation today?
