In June, I'll be heading to San Francisco for a 7-day, 545-mile fundraising bike ride from SF to LA. Given all of challenges to health care funding, your help is more important than ever to support life-saving research, prevention programs and treatment services.
Many of you have contributed before to my requests to support these services. But like eating, breathing abd sleeping, there is no end to the work ahead.
For example, I'm a member of a community advisory board researching methods to support medication adherence and reduce HIV in the African-American community. Advances in prevention and treatment means the work must evolve as well.
The programs and services supported by AIDs LifeCycle are offered through the Los Angeles LGBT Center and San Francisco AIDS Foundation and serve as models of care and prevention around the the US and world. Members of both agencies work with organizations in several countries to share best practices to end the global AIDS epidemic.
Join the ride with your dollars and best wishes.
Many thanks. Tom
