UPDATE: While this year's ride in 2020 has been canceled due to Covid-19 shutdown/virus concerns, the eseential funding deficit for these centers still exists. This fundraising call is not only to help keep them afloat for this difficult and unprecendented year, but now more than ever to help the myriad of programs they have established that will be leaned on by the community they directly support. From testing, to research, to various elderly/teen/homeless related programs, these dollars are essential to keeping these amazing programs not only in place during this time of crises, but hopefully to help them thrive. Will you help me reach my goal still?
I am joining New Bear Republic and the ALC AIDS Ride this [Now Next] year to make a difference in the lives of those living with HIV and AIDS, as well as the countless others who rely on the many services of the Los Angeles LGBT Center and the San Francisco AIDS Foundation. These two organizations together, have an incredible list of programs, research projects, and charitable events that expand more and more with every year that passes. If you get an opportunity take a tour of one of these centers, or contact me directly and we can get that arranged... These placees really are a bastion of hope for so many in this modern world.
I will be a Roadie this [Now NEXT] year and hope to not only donate my time to this great cause but also fundraise as much as I can to help out the cause! Won't you help me reach my goal?
A bit about this journey: For one week a year, over 3,000 Cyclists, Roadies and Virtual Cyclists will be participating in AIDS/LifeCycle, a 545-mile bike ride from San Francisco to Los Angeles to raise funds for the life-saving services offered by San Francisco AIDS Foundation and the Los Angeles LGBT Center. This year, I’ll be helping along the way as a roadie volunteer to keep things moving smoothly and supporting those hard working riders along the way!
The services provided as a result of this event mean the world to those who receive them, and your support means the world to me.
We’re working together to make HIV/AIDS a thing of the past. Will you support me by making a donation today?
