I'M RIDING TO END AIDS
The funds I raise will enable the L.A. Gay & Lesbian Center and San Francisco AIDS Foundation help those impacted by HIV get the treatment and care they need and provide targeted prevention efforts for high risk populations. From June 2-8, 2019 I'm bicycling in AIDS/LifeCycle. It's a 7-day 545-mile bike ride from San Francisco to Los Angeles to make a world of difference in the lives of people living with HIV and AIDS.
I ask for your support because:
* I am riding in memory of people who lost to their battle to this terrible disease.
* I am riding in honor of the new and old friends who live with HIV and AIDS and fight that battle every day.
* I am riding in celebration of my 55th birthday!
* MOST importantly I am riding to make a difference and by helping me you are all making a difference.
I'm able to ride. I'm able to help. Here I am doing my part. I'm asking you to help and sponsor me. Some of you are my close friends or family and some I have never met in person. It takes ALL of you to help me reach my fundraising goal so please be as generous as you can and remember that it's tax-deductible and your company might match funds.
No donation is too small or too large -- together we will make a difference.
Help me support AIDS/LifeCycle by giving what you can. Just click the links below to my ALC Participant Page and make your tax-deductible charitable contribution. We'll keep riding until AIDS and HIV are a thing of the past.

Training ride #1
Well the training season is now upon us. I had my first offical training ride. The weekend befores ride was rained out. This ride was a cold flat 35 miles. It was suppose to be easy and it would have been if I had on the bike in the last 2 months, but sadly the holidays and bad weather kept me from riding. Now that the New Year and real training season is here, plus I have a awesome group of people to keep my motivated, which I also have to answr two, I will be on the bike every weekend and some week days as well from now till June.
I could not do this without all of you, thank you so much.
