I just got married, and to celebrate I want to raise $100,000 (with my husband) to END AIDS! Please join us!
2 weeks after crossing the finish line for AIDS LifeCycle 2019 I got married to fellow rider Matthew Arring (VanHorn)! We love adventures and doing BIG things!
As we rode the 2019 ALC we discussed what we want to do with our first year of marriage. Make a big impact came up over and over again. On the ride we heard the stories of people whose lives were changed, and even saved by the services that are provided as a result of the fundraising that happens for the ALC. It was then that we determined we wanted to raise $100,000 together to help fight HIV/AIDS. Please join us in this goal for our first year of marriage!
When I signed up for my first AIDS LifeCycle I was, of course, happy to be part of an amazing cause, but I was really excited for the adventure of the riding my bicycle down California. As I did my first ride I got to meet so many people whose lives have been affected by HIV and AIDS and learn about how the services that come from money raised by the AIDS LifeCycle literally saves lives. I've seen how people's lives are changed by what we do on this ride. And as I embark on my third AIDS LifeCycle I am first and foremost humbled to be able to raise money for this cause and be a part of this incredible movement that raises money for critical services.
The bike ride is exciting, but it is secondary to being able to be a part of something that means so much to so many people's lives.
