Thank you for joining me in this cause!
I'm doing it again!! June 3-6 I’ll be participating in AIDS/LifeCycle, a 545-mile bike ride from San Francisco to Los Angeles to support the life-saving services offered by San Francisco AIDS Foundation and the Los Angeles LGBT Center. This bike ride means the world to those who receive treatment as a result of this event, and your support means the world to me. As a Roadie for AIDS/LifeCycle, I will be one of over 600 volunteers who will support this moving city.
Over this week, the Roadie community will provide all the necessary support for Cyclists. From running a rest stop on the route to moving hundreds of pounds of garbage, to setting up 400 tables, the Roadies are the true workforce of the Ride.
Why would I do something like this? First of all, AIDS/LifeCycle raises millions of dollars each year to provide life-saving services to those living with HIV ($15.1 Million last year alone!)
As a Roadie, I have an opportunity to raise awareness about HIV, AIDS/LifeCycle, and the agencies it supports - as well as an opportunity to raise funds.
We’re working together to make HIV/AIDS a thing of the past. Will you support me by making a donation today?
