I finished my first ALC Ride 2016 and it changed my life forever!!! It was an amazing amazing amazing experience. I am now part of an amazing community...the ALC Love Bubble and it's time for me to do it all again...train...give back, fight AIDS, and push myself harder than ever before, 545 miles on a bike from San Fran to LA...for a 5th time! I'm the captain of an amazing team called Hot Wheels, ALC. I am proud to be part of such a supportive team. I couldn't imagine doing this again without them.
I have amazing friends in my life that are HIV positive. They have the meds to keep them healthy and the education to stay that way. I help educate others how to live, love, and cope with having friends and family who are postive. Sometimes they live in hiding, in shame, and uneducated about fighting this disease. AIDSLifeCycle is here to promote awarness, provide money for research and create a better life for those positive people in need. I am happy to be part of that.
Come June 2020, over 3,000 Cyclists, Roadies, Virtual Cyclists, and I will be participating in AIDS/LifeCycle, a 545+ mile bike ride from San Francisco to Los Angeles to raise funds for the life-saving services offered by San Francisco AIDS Foundation and the Los Angeles LGBT Center.
It has been one of most scariest physical endeavors I could ever imagine taking part in....but here I am, training every week with my my fellow Hotties. I am super excited, scared, nervous, and just so happy to be part of it. If the ride wasn't scary enough, now I have to ask people for money, another thing that I've never done before. But I know that is why we are all here, to raise money. So, I hope you guys will dig in and help me out.
