Last year, despite battling bronchitis, crosswinds, brutally cold mornings and way too many steep climbs and dangerous downhills - my first ALC ride was truly one of the greatest experiences of my life and one that I will never forget. Thanks to the support of dozens of amazing friends and family, I raised over $8,000 and rode over 450 miles over 7 days (special thanks to the roadies and SAG busses that got me the other 100 miles)!
This year I have decided to go behind the scenes again, helping support these amazing riders as a volunteer Roadie. Yes riders, I will be setting up your tent grid, putting out your dining tables and chairs and most importantly making sure there is plenty of hand sanitizer outside of the port o potties.
Even know I do not have to fundraise as a Roadie, I know many of you donated last year not because I was riding, but because you believed in this organization and this cause. With less than a month to go until we leave San Francisco, every dollar counts to helping those living with HIV/AIDS and remembering how far we have come!
With much love and appreciation,
