June 5th - June 11th, over 3,000 Cyclists, Roadies and Virtual Cyclists will be participating in AIDS/LifeCycle, a 545-mile bike ride from San Francisco to Los Angeles to raise funds for the life-saving services offered by San Francisco AIDS Foundation and the Los Angeles LGBT Center. AND YOU KNOW REST STOP 4 WILL BE THERE WITH BELLS ON... LITERATELY!
For years, Rest Stop 4 has been a rider favorite with all the extra work we put in for them. From our over the top themes with elaborate costumes and decor, to our busted, yet hilarious, drag performances; RS4 has been called the ALC's mini-Disney land due to our endless entertainment. And I could not be more honored to lead the team as captain for my 5th year in a row!
But of course it's not just about the laughs and good times. Even though roadies don't have to fundraise, we are all still in this for the cause. So each individual member of the rest stop commits to raising at least $5,000. And being a captain, we raise our bar even higher!
