Hi Friends and Family,
I’m off on another adventure, one that you can participate in as well.
Starting June 4th I will be riding my bicycle from the Cow Palace (how appropriate for an Iowa Farm Boy) in San Francisco, through the heart of California, ending up in Los Angeles on June 10th. The 2017 AIDS/LifeCycle is a 545 mile journey to help those people fighting AIDS.
For those of you who donated and followed me last year, you know the ride didn't go the way I wanted it to. That being said, my cardio vascular system is in much better shape than last year due to the cardio rehab I am going through. Following my health care provider's instructions (well, most of the time) I am riding longer rides each week and plan to be in the best shape of my adult life when June 4th rolls around. I am blessed to be able to do this while there are many of the beneficiaries of this ride who are not.
So here is your chance to join me. Please click on the Donate Now button to the right and make a contribution. My goal is to raise $5000. Only with your help can I meet this goal and at the same time support those living with this terrible disease.
Oh, and if by chance your company has a matching gift program, please take the time to fill out their matching gift form to expand your generosity. Please make a note that you will be assisting the fund raising of Nick Carter, participant number 1453.
The EIN (Tax ID #) for the Los Angeles LGBT Center is 95-3567895 which is a nonprofit, public benefit corporation recognized as tax exempt under IRS Code Section 501(c)(3). Donations to AIDS/LifeCycle are deductible for income tax purposes, to the extent permitted by law. For more information go to the website www.aidslifecycle.org
Thanks in advance for your support.
