Thank you for joining me in this very important cause!
June 2nd - June 8th, 2019, over 3,000 Cyclists, Roadies and Virtual Cyclists will be participating in AIDS/LifeCycle, a 545-mile bike ride from San Francisco to Los Angeles to raise funds for the life-saving services offered by San Francisco AIDS Foundation and the Los Angeles LGBT Center. This year, I’ll be one of them!
As a Registered Nurse for over 20 years, I have witnessed, first hand, the struggles from those affected by this dreadful disease including embarassment, condemnation, and avoidance, not to mention the stigma and life-changing situations associated with this disease. I have close friends who went through the grieving process but are now accepted, loved, and happy. Let's not forget that these individuals are human beings too. They deserve as much love, support, and respect than those suffering from cancer, heart disease, alcoholism, and others.
The services provided as a result of this event mean the world to those who receive them, and your support means the world to me. I have made a personal donation of $100 to start of, and I challenge you to do the same.
We’re working together to make HIV/AIDS a thing of the past. Will you support me by making a donation today, no matter the amount?
