FROM June 2 to June 8, 2019, I'M BICYCLING IN AIDS/LIFECYCLE. IT'S A 7-DAY, 545-MILE BIKE RIDE FROM SAN FRANCISCO TO LOS ANGELES TO MAKE A WORLD OF DIFFERENCE IN THE LIVES OF PEOPLE LIVING WITH HIV AND AIDS.
Dear Friends,
Why do I ride? Because I want to make a contribution to the fight against AIDS by joining 2500 other bike riders to raise funds, for research and community educational services, administered by the San Francisco AIDS Foundation.
I first participated in 2014, and I found the experience so rewarding - personally and for the value of the donations raised for this worthy cause - that I can't wait do it all again, for the third time. I was overwhelmed by the physical and emotional experience, especially the moment when I arrived in LA at the finish line to be met by my sons Jackson & Henry (and their Moms J). Last year, was another great fundraising year with more than $15,000,000 raised by people like you.
My minimum goal this year is $3000. I will be taking a week out of my life (not to mention all the weekends training beforehand) to help the San Francisco AIDS Foundation.
Any amount of support you can offer would be greatly appreciated in helping me reach my goal of $3000 for the SFAF. Keep in mind that any donation is tax deductible. I thank you in advance for your support and encouragement. After the ride I'll send some photos about life on the ride, and share some of my experiences with you.
Here's the link to my profile page on the web where you can make you donation.
