Hello friends! I’ve decided to continue riding to support the life-saving services to people facing HIV/AIDS through the SF AIDS Foundation (SFAF). In 2018 I rode the Lifecycle Event from SF to LA in support and I was registered last year as well for the AIDS LifeCycle. However, due to COVID-19 pandemic, the ride was canceled for 2020 and 2021. For this year, it has been transformed from a group ride to individuals riding and meeting goals to help the raise money for the HIV/AIDS cause. This year I will participate in a new ALC event, TogetheRide. TogeheRide is a community-wide cycling challenge that is bringing people together, even when we’re physically apart. Riders will be pedaling a total of 1.2 million miles to raise money for the fight against HIV/AIDS. That is 1 mile for each of the 1.2 million people in the U.S. living with HIV.
The need to raise funds has never been more critical given the impact of the pandemic. I'm setting my fundraising goal at $5000 and will cycle at least 2021 miles between now and June 30, 2021.
I will be training hard to meet these goals. This fundraiser is the sole means of support for the SF AIDS Foundation, which provides free services to so many affected by AIDS. Please support me by donating today! Any amount is greatly appreciated. Thank you to those who have supported me in the past. And thank you all for making a difference in the lives of so many!
