Thank you for joining me again in this cause and it's official I'M RIDING - AGAIN and with my husband, Kevin. I was able to raise over $25,000.00 in 2019 and was in the top 50 fundraisers. If you supported me last year - THANK YOU! I am pledging to raise $30,000.00 this year.
I have continued training and riding after the 2019 ride. I work out everyday and have a resting day that is so needed. I was able to ride with a group, The Desert Roadrunners, for the 2019 ride and this year we officially became a team. I am so proud to be part of a team, especially this one as we are FAMILY.
I am still so EXCITED and full of great JOY to be able to participate for a second year with an organization that I truly believe in and will continue to support as our daughter, Samantha, is LGBT. If Kevin and I were not here, this organization would assist her with so many resources. I am glad that Kevin and I are here to be her support and love. I ride so we can continue to support all the children that do not have our support or love and those that have HIV/AIDS and are fighting every day to be here. It still astounds me the number of youth that are supported by ALC and recently the senior community has been added, which is a win-win with me. If you are ever in Los Angeles or San Francisco, I encourage to tour these facilities and learn more.
May 31 to June 6, 2020 over 3,000 Cyclists, Roadies and Virtual Cyclists will be participating in AIDS/LifeCycle, a 545-mile bike ride from San Francisco to Los Angeles to raise funds for the life-saving services offered by San Francisco AIDS Foundation and the Los Angeles LGBT Center. This year, I am doing it again. For me to even participate, I will have to raise $3,000.00. I have earned my ticket to ride thanks to all my supporters.
The services provided as a result of this event mean the world to those who receive them, and your support means the world to me and my husband, Kevin.
We’re working together to make HIV/AIDS a thing of the past. Will you support me or Kevin by making a donation today?
