Thank you for supporting me. I am raising money to benefit the San Francisco AIDS Foundation
Last June, I had one of the best week's of my life. I accomplished a pledge I made in 1994, to complete the AIDS/LifeCycle. Amy and I are doing the ride again this year. It is a 545-mile bike ride from San Francisco to Los Angeles to raise funds for the life-saving services offered by San Francisco AIDS Foundation. Having lost dozens and dozens of friends to AIDS, including our best friends Will and Robert I wanted to raise funds and awareness for the ongoing struggle of HIV/AIDS. All these years later, we continue to grieve and miss our angels.
The 7 day bike ride down to L.A. was the unquestionably the toughest physical challenge I have endured but life on the AIDSRide is exemplary. It is sometimes called the "love bubble" because we are united with a single focus and a collective purpose. We are working towards a solution and the focus remains on working toward a cure for AIDS and raising funds to support those living with HIV. Thank you for considering a donation of any size. My community has suffered unimaginable loss after the Carr and Camp Fires and I understand that this request comes at a really challenging time. I am prepared to "self-fund" to achieve the goal but would also apprieciate donations of any amount.
Blessings and love,
