Thank you for joining me in this cause!
Because one week with the love bubble isn't enough, I will once again be joining over 3,000 Cyclists, Roadies and Virtual Cyclists participating in AIDS/LifeCycle, a 545-mile bike ride from San Francisco to Los Angeles in the name of HIV awareness, prevention, and care services!
From idolizing Freddie Mercury as a young musician to providing HIV education in Nicaragua with the Peace Corps, HIV has been a part of my life personally and professionally for many years.
Today, I proudly work at Boulder County AIDS Project in Boulder, Colorado, as the Prevention Manager. In my role, I provide scientifically-based and medically-accurate educational presentations about HIV, Hepatitis C, and Harm Reduction in middle and high school classrooms, free HIV and Hepatitis C testing, staff outreach booths at community events, and oversee our Syringe Access program.
By participating in the AIDS/LifeCycle, I want to continue to raise awareness and eliminate stigma surrounding HIV and raise funds for those who are living with HIV today, so they can continue to live a fulfilling life!
We’re working together to make HIV/AIDS a thing of the past. Will you support me by making a donation today?
