Thank you for helping me in our shared cause!
I have made it a focus of my life to find a cure for HIV. Currently in our lab we are searching for HIV markers of latency, with hopes that this will lead us to a cure. This is also the reason for my motivation to get a PhD. I want to END AIDS for good with a cure that will work for everyone! I also love to cycle!! This ride gives me the ability to marry these two ideas and I am so grateful I will be able to participate this year. I ask that you support me in this goal which benefits the services offered by the the LA LGBT center and SF AIDS Foundation. Because until we find a cure we must fight to keep our community safe and let them know we love them. This is why I ride. I want to support those in the community that need my love and support and your donations to stay healthy! Medications and PrEP access are essential to this fight and I am proud to be supporting a ride which gives these organizations money to do just that. These organizations have so many positive functions for the community and I hope you will check their sites out to find out more. The above mentioned are just a few of these services. But in all they support the community and are fighting to help those affected by HIV! This is why I ride!
Thank you so so much!
June 3rd - June 9th, over 3,000 Cyclists, Roadies and Virtual Cyclists will be participating in AIDS/LifeCycle, a 545-mile bike ride from San Francisco to Los Angeles to raise funds for the life-saving services offered by San Francisco AIDS Foundation and the Los Angeles LGBT Center. This year, I’ll be one of them!
The services provided as a result of this event mean the world to those who receive them, and your support means the world to me.
We’re working together to make HIV/AIDS a thing of the past. Will you support me by making a donation today?
