I'm doing it again!
Participating in this year's AIDS/Lifecycle was a lifechanging experience for me. Growing up in the 70s and 80s, I lost a couple of childhood friends to AIDS but never have I been so close to people whose lives have been intimately effected by the disease. A good friend said to me days before I left for the ride, "I can't believe this is still a problem."
I feel incredibly fortunate that I'm healthy enough to push my body for the 7 days and 545 miles. I made friends that week that will stay with me for a lifetime. This year I became a Certified Training Ride Leader for AIDS/Lifecycle and I'm hoping to pay the experience forward and help others join the cause.
The services provided as a result of this event mean the world to those who receive them, and your support means the world to me.

I became a Training Ride Leader for the 2019 ride!
I'm so excited and proud that I got certified as a training ride leader for 2019 AIDS/Lifecycle. I helped on my first training ride on October 13th. It was so fun and I can't wait for more. Also, I recruited 2 friends to ride and they have recruited one and two more riders respectively. We're growing the female bear population! :-D
