I have been riding for the past four years — yes, including 2020 during the lockdown when I rode on my own and I absolutely loved it. Hats off to all of my fellow AIDS LIfeCycle (ALC) fundraiser-cycling enthusiasts who continue to ride for a cause and to make a difference in this world.
It’s now 2021 — and it’s now my 4th year doing this — and we’re still riding in groups or on our own, raising funds for the Los Angeles LGBT Center and the San Francisco AIDS Foundation so they can continue providing needed services to HIV/AIDS patients who happen to vulnerable against COVID-19.
There is no doubt that we love what we do and I hope you can feel that. In fact on June 19, 2021, I am circling the 72-mile circumference of Lake Tahoe (elevation is 6k, mind you) with my fellow ALC rider John Winston Palma who introduced me to ALC. And we’re still riding together!
Today, I dedicate every pedal, every stride, every ride, every road, every effort, every breathe, every bump, every flat, every fall, every climb and every conquest to those who have gone so soon and those who can’t ride — because I can and I care.
Together, we can support each other on every passion and path we choose to take and I LOVE YOU for supporting mine. YOU are my INSPIRATION whenever I ride (and of course, the beneficiaries haha).
Thank you, again and again!
