Adventure ride for a cause reloaded...

Donate Now

Thank you for joining me in this adventure!

You are wondering, is Ben doing this again?!

I had the honor and pleasure to ride in the 2019 AIDS/Lifecycle. On that ride, I met new friends, felt the warmth of the California hospitality along the route, tested physically and mentally and emotionally riding those 545 miles, grateful for the ability and opportunity to bike each and every mile for those who can’t now or those before me, and thankful to my donors and cheerleaders who helped me reach this goal. Finishing the ride, I hesitated on doing it again, but was reminded that not all heroes wear capes, rather they help make miracles happen through such an organization and event.

From May 31st - June 6th in 2020, I’ll be rejoining over 3,000 Cyclists, Roadies and Virtual Cyclists on the AIDS/LifeCycle, a 545-mile bike ride from San Francisco to Los Angeles to raise funds for the life-saving services offered by San Francisco AIDS Foundation and the Los Angeles LGBT Center.

This event is life changing. Bringing comradery amongst riders, supporting organizations providing life-saving services, and raising awareness to make HIV/AIDS a thing of the past. Your support on my adventure means the world to me.

This was the craziest adventure I’ve embarked upon in 2019! However, I know it is a fulfilling endeavor for a cause, so it will be an honor and a pleasure to embark on this ride again. One that hopefully bring smiles to not only you, but those that benefit from the services provided by the San Francisco AIDS Foundation and the Los Angeles LGBT Center. Will you support me by making a donation today?

Embarking on this adventure...
This adventure has been years in the making. Several factors have come into play. Between several friends who have done the ride in past years, some of them also egging me on to do it already...they shall be nameless (**cough** Rob, **cough** Scott, **cough** Thomas). I've also have done some long bike rides in the past, with the longest same day ride at 137 miles in 8 hours (roundtrip to Purcellville, VA from DC). Also realizing the growing need in the community for those services, which are under assault under this current political climate.
We can stand idly by as history writes itself, or we can dictate the life we shall lead...
