Thank you for joining me in this cause!
June 2rd - June 8th, over 3,000 Cyclists, Roadies and Virtual Cyclists will be participating in AIDS/LifeCycle, a 545-mile bike ride from San Francisco to Los Angeles to raise funds for the life-saving services offered by San Francisco AIDS Foundation and the Los Angeles LGBT Center. This year, I’ll be one of them!
As I've traveled on missions, I've seen first-hand how HIV/AIDS can ravage the lives of individuals, their families, and their communities. HIV/AIDS doesn't stop at any borders, skin colors, genders, religions, or lifestyles. From Kenya to Minnesota, and on to California... HIV/AIDS has been there and done its damage to millions of lives.
I ride because of the friends I've made in Kenya who are affected by HIV/AIDS; families who are struggling on the brink to provide for themselves, as they are shunned by their neighbors due to their HIV/AIDS status. I ride because I have friends here at home who must live with this terrible disease. I ride because I know we can make a difference. I ride because the services provided as a result of this event mean the world to those who receive them.
Your support means the world to me. Every dollar matters... and it starts with my own. I'm donating $100 towards my $5,000 goal.
We’re working together to make HIV/AIDS a thing of the past. Will you support me by making a donation of your own today?
