Thank you for joining me in this fight!
Why do I ride?
Hello again everybody! My name is Christopher Cruz and 2021 will be my 3rd year as a Cyclist and advocate in the fight against AIDS. Things may look a little different for our 2021 season, but my reasons for riding and my dedication to raise money and awareness has not changed.
I ride for my family members whom I never got to meet because of this disease. I ride to support my friends and loved ones who are living with HIV today.
I want to do something meaningful with my life and be a part of something that is bigger than me that will inspire others to do the same. I wish to gain more knowledge about HIV and AIDS and bestow that knowledge unto the young, the elderly and future generations to come.
I will continue to be the voice for those who can no longer speak.
A voice beside thousands of others with the same urgency towards finding a cure.
My hope, my dream, is to have my children grow up in a stigma-free world, living by the conviction that it is not what you believe in that defines who you are, but rather your behavior.
We have struggled as a community in the past, and even more so in 2020. But we must move forward together, as a whole, and as a family, in this Global challenge to make a difference in the fight against AIDS.
I ride because I can make a difference.
From now until June 2021, thousands of Cyclists will be participating on a whole new road adventure.
The services provided as a result of this event mean the world to those who receive them, and your support means the world to me.
We’re working together to make HIV/AIDS a thing of the past. Will you support me by making a donation today?
