Preparing for AIDS/LifeCycle and the 545 mile bike-ride from San Francisco to Los Angeles not only entails a physical endurance test for me or anybody involved, but also a psychological and an emotional test that is helping to propel my sincere desire to make a difference for what are life-saving services offered by both the San Francisco AIDS Foundation and the Los Angeles LGBT Center. My husband has had several dear friends who have fallen victim to this disease; talented and loving people who were taken away from us too early in life. The pain of these losses will never go away, but we can continue to fight towards a cure. We can never give up. Great strides have been made in the last 35 years, but it continues to have a devastating effect on the lives of those who are currently afflicted. As I begin to physically prepare for this life-changing event, I am asking you to please help me with a sponsorship donation. My goal is to reach a total donation amount of $5,000.00. I promise you that I will not let you down on June 2-8, 2019, and I promise to be an extension of your desire and your efforts to make HIV/AIDS a thing of the past. Thank you so much for your help.
