This past June, many of you supported me in my first AIDS/Lifecycle (ALC) ride, a 545-mile, 7-day bike ride from San Francisco to Los Angeles to raise funds for the life-saving services offered by San Francisco AIDS Foundation and the Los Angeles LGBT Center. They also support AIDS cure research. (Many of you also supported me in 2018 for the Pan-Mass Challenge which raises an awesome amount of money for the Dana Farber Cancer Institute!)
I am so grateful for your support! I am once again riding in the 2020 ALC that begins on May 31, 2020. I hope you can help sponsor me with a tax deductible donation. I happen to live very close to the LA Center and I can attest that they provide critical care to a very vulnerable community and I am excited to be doing the ride again with over 3,000 Cyclists, Roadies and Virtual Cyclists.
This year, I have joined an ALC Bike Club/Team: Trudging Buddies, which is comprised of sober cyclists--like me--riding in the ALC. As some of you know, I now have over 5 1/2 years sober. Biking has saved my life and this is one way for me to give back.
I have committed to raise at least $10,000 to participate, so I hope you can support me for this important cause. If you can contribute, here is a link to my donation webpage: http://www.tofighthiv.org/site/TR/Events/AIDSLifeCycleCenter?px=3449710&pg=personal&fr_id=2180. I am very grateful for your support!
