Thank you for joining me and the rest of the #teamPwC riders in this cause!
June 2nd - June 8th, over 3,000 Cyclists, Roadies and Virtual Cyclists will be participating in AIDS/LifeCycle, a 545-mile bike ride from San Francisco to Los Angeles to raise funds for the life-saving services offered by San Francisco AIDS Foundation and the Los Angeles LGBT Center.
While I had never ridden a road bike prior to this February, somehow, I was convinced this ride wasn't as bad as it sounds. Seeing as my first few rides ended with me hunched over the side of the road, I've concluded it's definitely going to be more difficult than it sounds.
In all seriousness, though, this cause means a lot to me as it afflicts a member of my family. The services provided as a result of this event mean the world to those who receive them, and your support means the world to me.
We’re working together to make HIV/AIDS a thing of the past. My employer, PricewaterhouseCoopers, has been sponsoring a team for this event since 2016, and #teamPwC is now the number one team based on donations. While #teamPwC sets some pretty hefty fundraising goals for its riders, they have successfully raised over $1 million since first sponsoring the ride. Please help support me and #teamPwC end this terrible disease. Donations of any size are welcome, and since PwC has a donation matching program, your donations count double!
