Coming down the home stretch

For the past nine months months I’ve been training with a group of folks called Team Portland for the 2022 AIDS/LifeCycle event, a fundraiser for the San Francisco AIDS Foundation and the Los Angeles LGBT Center. We are forty cyclists, once strangers but now friends, and a pretty typical cross section of Portland. We’ve already blown through the $100,000 fundraising goal we set ourselves last September but we're not stopping.  We're just broke $130,000 and we're rolliing on to the finish line.  Please join us.

My revised personal goal is $7,000, and I'm currently at $6,275, so close.  As my Grandad used to say, it's like the little boy with a hole in his britches, the end is in sight. Personally. having grandkids of my own, I especially want to support the outreach these two nonprofits do to homeless, at-risk kids. Please give what you can, spread the word, check for employer matching programs, etc.

Let's do this!  We are pumped and focused, training like crazy to be ready for the ride, and we're grateful for your emotional and financial support!
