Do you believe in unicorns?
It’s time to start.
This year I decided to do something extraordinary - at least for me!
I joined the AIDS LifeCycle bike ride from SF to LA, total of 545miles, exciting and scary at the same time!!
Have I lost sanity completely?
Maybe but ...this challenge marries two things that are very important to me cycling and helping people.
Some of you already know how important is cycling for me, how it makes me feel responsible for the environment but also free and in touch with the landscape that surrounds me, therefore why not do something I always dreamed - coastal ride surrounded by people that share the same passion?
Second, I want raise awareness about AIDS because the fight is not done yet!
While growing up in the the 90s I was reminded every minute how important prevention and information was but I feel that in the past years people talks less and less about AIDS but the reality is that people are still diagnosed HIV positive and we need to do something and make HIV/AIDS a thing of the past!
The services provided as a result of this event mean the world to those who receive them, and your support means the world to me.
We’re working together to make HIV/AIDS a thing of the past.
Please join me in this adventure, don’t worry you don’t need to join the ride - unless you are tempted.
I set myself the high goal of fundraising 10K I’d appreciate if you could help me to reach my goal.
Thanks for your support and help!
in case your company can match your donation this is my rider n. 4487 and full name is Manuela Zavattaro
