Nothing can stop me from riding.
Last year I challenged myself physically and mentally to prepare for the ride of a lifetime...545 miles from San Francisco to Los Angeles to raise awareness and funds for the Los Angeles LGBT Center and San Francisco AIDS Foundation. To all of you who donated, thank you from the bottom of my heart. Your generous support means the world to those who receive services from these two centers.
I continued training through the pandemic (always with a mask and distanced from others), even when the ride was cancelled.
This year continues to bring challenges to all of us, and while the ride will not be happening in 2021, I am still doing what I can to support the Center and those living with HIV and AIDS. I am participating in a new adventure called TogetheRide, which gives me the great opportunity to still get on my bike, log miles and train (I will be so ready to tackle SF to LA), and continue to fundraise.
My 39th birthday is in April, and my goal is to raise $3,900 by the end of my birthday month. I know times are very tough for a lot of people, but any amount will help me reach my goal and provide services to those who continue to need them.
Please consider donating today.
