I am so excited to be riding in my first AIDS/LifeCycle in 2022!
I will be riding in AIDS/LifeCycle from June 5-11, 2022, raising money to support the San Francisco AIDS Foundation and the Los Angeles LGBT Center, and I would be incredibly grateful for your support!
What: AIDS/LifeCycle is a 545-mile, 7-day bike ride from San Francisco to Los Angeles that has happened annually since 1993. After a hiatus in 2020 and 2021 due to COVID, the ride will be returning in 2022 in full force. I have a personal goal to raise $5,000!
Why: The SF AIDS Foundation and LA LGBT Center provide vital and life-saving community services, including but not limited to HIV/AIDS medical care, testing, and prevention services. The ride also raises awareness and reduces stigma that unfortunately still stands around HIV/AIDS.
Since moving to San Francisco roughly 7 years ago, I have had a goal of one day participating in ALC, and this year, I’m thrilled to make it a reality! During that time, I have had the privilege of seeing the impact that community organizations like the SF AIDS Foundation and LA LGBT Center provide, and I am very happy to have the opportunity to contribute.
On a personal level, this ride also represents an opportunity to challenge myself and forge an even deeper and wider connection with a community of people I love dearly and who have given so much to me.
Your support would mean the world, so if you are able, please consider donating - no amount is too small! :)
