Fom May 31st to June 6th, over 3,000 Cyclists, Roadies and Virtual Cyclists will be participating in AIDS/LifeCycle, a 545-mile bike ride from San Francisco to Los Angeles to raise funds for the life-saving services offered by San Francisco AIDS Foundation and the Los Angeles LGBT Center. This year, I’ll be one of them!
My fiance and I learned about this event when a friend finished it last year and we were very inspired by it. We both work in the medical field so we know the tremendous impact that it will have and how much it will mean to those who receive these services.
We are first time cyclists and just bought over a thousand dollars worth of bike gears. Call us crazy but we are very committed to a good cause! And since I would never ask anyone to do something that I would not do, I am going to start it off with a $200 dollar donation. I hope you can support me by making a donation and be a part of this amazing journey with me!
