I ride for those you don't know among us who need help to survive. They may be your neighbor, co-worker, friend or relative, and every day they depend on vital HIV treatment so they can live a full life. It's exciting to live in a time when HIV treatment leads to an Undetectable viral load status, which means the virus is Unable to be transmitted to anyone else, U=U.
Hopefully one day soon we will live in a world free of HIV. Until then, I'm joining in the fight to end HIV stigma and raise funds for the life-saving services offered by San Francisco AIDS Foundation and the Los Angeles LGBT Center. Since Oct of 2019 I have been training for AIDS/LifeCycle, and the journey has had it's ups and downs with the 545-mile bike ride from San Francisco to Los Angeles delayed until 2022. I keep peddling which takes me to new heights and longer distances.
