On May 31st I will join over 3,00 cyclists, roadies, and virtual cyclists on the AIDS/LifeCycle, a 545 mile bike ride from SF to LA raising funds for the LA LGBT Center! I’ve set my goal at raising $5k this year which will provide a full year of lab testing for 11 patients. The services provided by the center mean the world to those who receive them, and you support does too. No amount is too small, monetary or emotional, so help out with whatever and however you can.

UPDATE : Due to obvoious reasons the ride this year has been cancelled. Because of this, funding for the LALGBT Center is crucial to help out those in need for the upcoming months.

$10 buys 114 Condoms / pays for a full day of meals for homeless youths
$30 covers STI treatment for one patient
$45 gets you a custom shirt designed to show your support
$50 covers a full day at the center – showers, meals, laundry, and employment training
$100 provides comprehensive HIV/STI testing for one client
$250 provides rapid HIV tests for 20 clients
$500 covers a full year of medical supply costs for 20 clients
$1000 funds one client receiving Post Exposure (PEP) to prevent HIV infection from a potential exposure
$5000 covers a full year of laboratory test for 11 patients
$10,000 covers 3 months of psychosocial case management for 300 patients
$15,000 provides comprehensive sexual health services, including HIV + STI tests, treat, education and counseling to 100 clients
$25,000 covers 5 months of mental health therapy for 28 patients
$35,000 funds an HIV counselor for 1,200 clients per year
$50,000 underwrites the cost of comprehensive HIV wraparound services by a case management team for 3 months for 135 patients.
