Fom May 31st to June 6th, over 3,000 Cyclists, Roadies and Virtual Cyclists will be participating in AIDS/LifeCycle, a 545-mile bike ride from San Francisco to Los Angeles to raise funds for the life-saving services offered by San Francisco AIDS Foundation and the Los Angeles LGBT Center. This year, I’ll be one of them!
This will be my third event supporting AIDS reaseach and treatment in Los Angeles. My last marathon with Team to End AIDS was in 2011 when I trained and ran along side my life long friend Steve Gonzalez. Steve passed away far too early in 2017. Supporting the LGBT community and raising money for APLA was a cause that meant so much to Steve. So, in 2020 I will be riding 545 miles across California in honor of Steve and to support the Los Angeles LGBT Center and San Francisco AIDS Foundation in fighting AIDS and supporting so many across our state struggling with illness and addiction. Please help me in supporting this cause and dedicating every penny raised and mile ridden to my dear friend.
