Cycling has always been a big part of my life. With a former professional brother and my dad as his coach, the interest runs in the family. We have had many good discussions while watching the Giro, Tour de France and the Vuelta along the many Spring Classics. I listen to them discuss about bike components and how many Kudos they got on Strava, without knowing what they were talking about.
That is about to change – I’ve earned my first Kudos while I’m currently training for the AIDS/Lifecycle. A 7 day and 545-mile bike ride from San Francisco to Los Angeles and most importantly, an event to raise funds for the life-saving services offered by San Francisco AIDS Foundation and the Los Angeles LGBT Center.
Since I’ve recently moved to California, I personally saw this as a great opportunity to discover the beautiful countryside while raising money for a good cause and also getting in a lot better shape!
I have committed to raising a minimum of $3000, but I can’t do that without your help. If you find that you’d like to donate, just click the link below, and it’ll take you to my fundraising page.
The services provided as a result of this event mean the world to those who receive them, and your support means the world to me. Will you support me by making a donation today?
